PESSIMISTIUM
March 12th 2021
The debut self-titled album from Pessimistium has a purpose made "Bad Production" intended to sound "Lo-Fi" with a heavy influence of DSBM. The sound is also comparable to Suicidal Euphoria's Life's Edge (a forgotten DSBM band from Russia). The single "Empty streets" had the most views on YouTube despite being extremely niche. "The Shadows Behind Me" was not rehearsed for the intention of keeping the unsynchronized part for an odd feeling.
Descending humanity
Empty streets
Lonely industrial estate
Another day another harlot
Born under the name of disappointment
The shadows behind me
Overdose (part ii)
Empty streets (acoustic version)
DON'T HOLD YOUR BREATHE...
April 24th 2021
Dispite the spelling mistake, "Don't hold your breathe..." has the better production compared to the self titled debut album. It was composed to achieve the "Blackgaze" sound as well as still remaining DSBM. The third track "Life Renewal" was single handedly composed by Dovahkiin.
Piercing heartpain
The path of a loner
Life renewal
Last goodbye
SUMMER ANXIETY
June 28th 2021
The second EP from Pessimistium, with Dovahkiin prefering a more melodic sound; Deafhaven's Sunbather being an influence whilst retaining the Nocturnal Depression/Burzum vibes. The EP is the least bleak out of all the Pessimistium releases and the themes focus on anxiety/anger, relief and joy but remain pessimistic in parts of the sound. "As time passes by" was composed by Damien Karras and lyrics/vocals by Dovahkiin. "Cowardice" featured Mortemis (Nihilistium) partly sampling drums.
Cowardice
Blissful moments
Summer anxiety
As time passes by
MELANCHOLIA TOWN
April 14th 2022
Damien Karras had already left Pessimistium before this album release. Karras composed the track "Meloncholia town" however Dovahkiin thought up the title, wrote the lyrics and performed vocals. The album focuses on "Depressive Black Metal" style vocals and includes some clean sections (shoegaze) and ambient city sounds for atmosphere, continuing the personal themes of Pessimistium.
Unease and terror
My past mistakes
The prediction
3rd chance
The mascot
Melancholia town

SO PRAY TELL ME...(single)
November 13th 2022
A song about when we are overthinking every little thing and creating anxiety for ourselves.
So pray tell me...
THE EYES OF A PESSIMIST (single)
May 28th 2023
This song has more of a "Black metal" approach compared to past compositions, influences from corruption, capital greed, cost-of-living and anger.
The eyes of a pessimist
MONOTONIC LIFE
November 21st 2023
Dovahkiin's third full-length album takes him out of his comfort zone as he looks for something different, not entirely ditching the "DSBM" or "Post Black Metal" but rather creating something dark. The album is inspired by personal issues and harsh reality.
The lies that keep us alive
Our life goes out (like a puff of smoke)
Isolation...
Monotonic life
